The final format shall be confirmed once all individual registrations have been received.

If the team format is selected, each team shall consist of a minimum of four players (two men and two ladies) and a maximum of six players (up to three men and three ladies), one of whom shall act as captain. The team format shall consist of at least three matches: men’s doubles, ladies’ doubles, and one or two mixed doubles matches depending on the number of participants per team. A singles category may also be included, subject to the confirmed schedule. Before each encounter, the captain shall fix the combinations for all scheduled matches. Once the encounter has begun, no changes to the declared combinations shall be permitted. Any player who becomes ill or injured during a match shall concede that match by walk‑over. Any missing combinations shall be forfeited.

In the team format, a player may not play in more than two categories during any given encounter. In the doubles format, a player may enter a maximum of two categories.

If the doubles format is selected, players may enter men’s doubles, women’s doubles, or mixed doubles. A singles category (men’s or women’s) may be offered subject to the confirmed schedule. Players may enter a maximum of two categories. Final pairings shall be submitted two weeks before the IAG.

Categories may be merged into open singles or open doubles if participation is insufficient. Independent players may be paired by the Coordinator.

Players must represent the organisation where they are currently employed. Staff from regional or field offices shall be considered part of their headquarters team unless the headquarters team is full. Organisations unable to form a full team may be combined with another organisation. Priority shall be given to combining whole organisations rather than selectively merging top players. Cross‑organisation pairings are permitted only when an organisation cannot form a team.

Players who cannot be placed under the eligibility rules shall be considered floating players. The Coordinator may assign floating players to teams, merge organisations, pair independent players, adjust gender distribution, and make final placement decisions to ensure fairness. All such decisions shall be final once communicated.

Matches shall be played in accordance with international pickleball rules. Each match shall consist of the best of three games to 11 points, win by 2. Only approved paddles and balls shall be used. A warm‑up period of 3–5 minutes shall be permitted before each match. Referees or trained volunteers shall officiate. Fair play and safety shall be strictly observed.

During the group stage (if applicable), a point system may be used. Each match won shall count as one point for the team or pair. The opposing team or pair shall receive zero points for each match lost.

In case of a draw in any given group after all encounters have been played, the winner of the head‑to‑head encounter between the tied teams shall be declared the winner. If more than two teams or pairs are tied on points, the number of games won, and eventually total points, shall be the deciding factors.

The competition shall consist of one round only, and each team or pair shall play against every other team or pair. When this is not possible because of the number of participants, insufficient courts, or lack of available time, the competition shall be played in groups. The top teams or pairs from the groups shall play for the first three places. The final competition structure shall be determined by the discipline coordinator once the format of play has been confirmed.

At the end of each encounter, the chief umpire or designated official shall communicate the results in writing to the discipline coordinator, together with the match records duly signed by the team captains or responsible players.

The host organisation shall provide the services of a chief umpire or chief referee to record the results and to resolve any dispute that may arise. The chief umpire’s decisions shall be final.

Players shall observe proper court etiquette at all times. Line calls shall follow the principle of “your court, your call,” and must be accepted without dispute. Unsportsmanlike behaviour—including arguing calls, throwing paddles, or hitting balls in a disrespectful manner—shall not be permitted. The umpire may issue warnings or take appropriate action in accordance with international pickleball regulations.

The host organisation shall designate an umpire or referee for each match, and for this purpose may call upon players not involved in a match of their own. The host organisation shall provide the official balls required for the competition.

The competition shall be held in accordance with the General Rules of the Inter‑Agency Games and those of international pickleball regulations, except where the present competition rules provide otherwise.

["post-8066","page","type-page","status-publish
["GET
