    I read that there are no longer single rooms available. how is this going to work? As several participants want single rooms.

    Thank you for your swift reply. 2 participants have already paid for the single room amount.

    Considering that i have to send 50 % of the amount of registered participants today, I prefer not to register them in the system and wait for a new single rooms availability, in order to register them and pay the full amount at one time within 27th March. What would you suggest? Do you think it is a good idea?

    I saw that there are no single rooms anymore. Many participants would like to book for single rooms, otherwise the will not join. Are you looking for any additional room? Otherwise, would it be possible to book for a double room and use it as a single room (paying of course 660). We would be grateful if you could assist us as soon as possible.

    • Hi Gianlucca,
      Yes, this is causing a great deal of anxiety among many that wish to join. I was told UNESCO is working on a solution and will inform us as soon as they have found a way to accommodate for extra single rooms.

    The UNIOGBIS Team is not complete in the following disciplines:

    a) Volleyball (1 person)
    b) Tennis, Table Tennis and Volleyball – the same participant (1 person)
    c) Football (2 participants) 1 Men and 1 Women.

    My question is: what can be done to have them assigned to other teams?

  14. Hi Steven,
    It’s good to see the hotel list, however, it seems that we cannot chose on our own the hotel we would like to be in. As there is a wide discrepancy between the various hotels, but we all pay the same fee, fair placements may not be assured.
    Therefore, I would like to kindly request that our UNHCR Geneva PETANQUE team be placed in a comfortable quality hotel close to the Petanque competition site.

    • Hi,
      I believe Hotel allocation will only happen after registration has closed. I believe participants will be residing in the hotels closest to their respective pitch. I will now play Pétanque myself, therefore I am happy to lobby on your behalf.

  16. Hello from Team UNAMI Lisbon 2019, registration is ongoing, one big question is on the issue of quickly receiving Invitation Letters for staff and friends who need to apply for a Schengen Visa, Kindly advise to whom in UNESCO should we request these letters?
