Your journey to the Inter-Agency Games – A practical guide

The UN Inter-Agency Games are an annual event that is hosted in accordance with its rules. The Games are governed by the Control Commission whose members are representatives from eligible Organizations (General Rule 6).

Each organization that has participated so far has a focal point who receives the official invitation each year and is responsible for distributing the information to the organization’s potential participants. It is also up to the focal point to coordinate efforts to ensure successful participation of the organization, including registering players and payment of the participation fees.

Athletes compete on behalf of their organization and as such have to register through their respective focal points. If your organization does not have a focal point, maybe you would be interested yourself. You can always send a request through the general contact form.

So, to summarize:

  1. Check if you’re eligible to participate (General Rule 14)
  2. Know your Discipline
  3. Contact your Focal Point and ask for registration info
  4. Register through your organization
  5. Keep checking the Website for the latest info
  6. Participate!

In order to contact your Focal Point you can use this contact form:

Send a message to your UN IAG Focal Point

If your organization is not listed please send a request through the General Contact form at the bottom of the page
