I am retired UN staff. Due to late invitation letter and delay in visa process , I received visa in the evening , a day prior to opening ceremony snd my flight had slready gone. Thus I could not attend snd last about 700 euros in different bookings. Please issue invitation letter now so we can start visa process. Regards

I used to be with UNEP in Nairobi, hence I registered with / via the UNON local committee. Point is, since retired, I am not in Nairobi anymore and now living in Paris. Am I supposed to still register via UNON though I am not in Nairobi anymore more and not former UNON staff. Is there no other option to register that is more logistically to my proximity, eg via UNESCO? though I will still be registered under UNEP.

Dear Mr. Steven and IAG Colleagues greetings from Afghanistan,
I kindly request you to pay more attention to Afghan UN Staff members those are applying for the host country visas. As you are aware that in Taliban regime no embassies of Eruopean countries in Afghanistan to process visas. Mentionable that in last 2023 game period. I spent about a month in Pakistan Islamabad for Portugal Visa. With a lot of expenses and lot of waiting to get Portugal visa. By the time I finally arrived in Lisbon, one day had passed since the start of the recreational games. If the host country gives facilities to the participants through provided listing by IAG it will be really useful for us. Thanks for your kind attention indeed.
