BINUH BINUH, established in June 2019, advises Haiti on political stability, human rights, elections, police professionalism, community violence reduction, justice reform, and prison conditions, collaborating with UN agencies for long-term development.
CTBTO The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) is dedicated to enforcing the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT), which prohibits all nuclear explosions on Earth, whether for military or peaceful purposes
ESCAP The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) is dedicated to promoting economic and social development in the Asia-Pacific region.
ESCWA The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) was established to promote economic and social development in the Arab region
FAO The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations with the primary goal of achieving food security for all. 
IAEA The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has a mandate to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy and to prevent its use for military purposes
ICAO The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations, established in 1944 under the Chicago Convention.
ICC The International Criminal Court (ICC) has a mandate to investigate, prosecute, and try individuals accused of committing the most serious crimes of concern to the international community.
IDLO The International Development Law Organization (IDLO) is dedicated to promoting the rule of law to advance peace and sustainable development
IFAD The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) focuses on eradicating rural poverty and hunger by investing in rural people.
ILO The International Labour Organization (ILO) is dedicated to promoting social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights
IMO The International Maritime Organization (IMO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for regulating international shipping.
IOM The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all.
ITC The International Trade Centre (ITC) is a joint agency of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the United Nations (UN) through the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
ITU The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for issues related to information and communication technologies (ICTs).
MINURSO United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO)  monitors the ceasefire between Morocco and the Frente POLISARIO, and prepares for a referendum for Western Sahara’s independence or integration with Morocco. It also provides humanitarian assistance and mine action efforts.
MINUSCA The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) has a mandate to protect civilians, support the peace process, and facilitate humanitarian assistance 
MONUSCO The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) has a mandate to protect civilians, support the stabilization and strengthening of State institutions, and implement key governance and security reforms 
OCHA The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has a mandate to coordinate international humanitarian response, develop humanitarian policies, and advocate for effective and principled humanitarian action
OECD The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) promotes policies to improve the economic and social well-being of people worldwide
OHCHR The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is mandated by the UN General Assembly to promote and protect the enjoyment and full realization of all human rights by all people. 
OOSAThe mandate of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) is to promote and facilitate the peaceful international cooperation in outer space.
OPCW The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is responsible for implementing the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC). 
OSCE The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has a mandate to address a wide range of security-related issues.
RSCE The  Regional Service Centre in Entebbe  RSCE enhances service delivery and operational support to UN missions in Africa by providing administrative, logistics, and ICT services. It aims to improve responsiveness, efficiency, and innovation in peace operations.

UN The UN’s mandate is to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations, achieve international cooperation, and harmonize actions of nations to address global issues.
UN-SECR The United Nations Secretariat carries out the day-to-day work of the UN as mandated by the General Assembly and the Organization’s other main organs
UNAMA The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA)’s mandate is to promote peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan, monitor human rights, and coordinate humanitarian assistance.
UNAMI UNAMI’s mandate is to support political dialogue and reconciliation in Iraq, assist with elections, and promote human rights.
UNCTAD The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) aims to integrate developing countries into the global economy through trade, investment, finance, and technology. It provides technical assistance and policy recommendations to support sustainable development
UNDP The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) works to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities, and build resilience so countries can sustain progress. They focus on sustainable development, democratic governance, and climate and disaster resilience.
UNDSS The United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) mandate is to ensure the safety and security of UN personnel and enable the safe delivery of UN operations worldwide.
UNECE The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) facilitates greater economic integration and cooperation among its 56 member states. It promotes sustainable development and economic prosperity through policy dialogue, international legal instruments, regulations, norms, and technical cooperation
UNEP The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) works to address the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste. UNEP provides leadership, delivers scientific research, and develops solutions to promote sustainable development
UNESCO UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, is a specialized agency dedicated to strengthening our shared humanity through the promotion of education, science, culture, and communication.
UNFPA The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) works to ensure that every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person’s potential is fulfilled. They focus on sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, and empowering women and young people
UNHABITAT UN-Habitat’s mandate is to promote socially and environmentally sustainable towns and cities, aiming to provide adequate shelter for all
UNHCR The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is mandated to protect and support refugees, asylum-seekers, stateless persons, and internally displaced persons (IDPs). They work to ensure these individuals’ rights and provide humanitarian assistance
UNICEF UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, is a global organization dedicated to providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. Founded in 1946, UNICEF operates in over 190 countries and territories
UNICRI The United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) is mandated to advance justice, crime prevention, security, and the rule of law in support of peace, human rights, and sustainable development
UNIDO The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) promotes and accelerates sustainable industrial development. Their mandate includes building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and fostering innovation
UNIFIL The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon , UNIFIL’s mandate is to monitor the cessation of hostilities and support the Lebanese Armed Forces in maintaining peace and security in southern Lebanon.
UNISFA The United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei , UNISFA’s mandate is to protect civilians under imminent threat of physical violence and monitor the redeployment of armed forces from the Abyei Area.
UNMISS The United Nations Mission in South Sudan , UNMISS is a peacekeeping mission in South Sudan, established in 2011 to protect civilians and support the peace process. It faces challenges due to ongoing conflicts and human rights issues.
UNMOGIPThe mandate of the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) is to observe and report on the ceasefire between India and Pakistan in the region of Jammu and Kashmir. 
UNODC The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is a global leader in combating illicit drugs, international crime, and terrorism
UNOG The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG, located in Geneva’s Palais des Nations, is a key hub for multilateral diplomacy and hosts thousands of meetings annually. It represents the UN Secretary-General in Geneva and facilitates international cooperation.
UNON The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) is the UN’s official headquarters in Africa, established in 1996, It supports various UN agencies, including UNEP and UN-Habitat, and provides administrative services
UNOPS The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) provides infrastructure, procurement, and project management solutions to support peace, security, humanitarian, and development projects globally. It operates with transparency and accountability to help achieve sustainable development.
UNOVThe United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) is one of the four major UN offices, providing administrative and support services to various UN programs and agencies based in Vienna, such as the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). 
UNSCOL The Office of the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon (UNSCOL) coordinates the UN’s efforts in Lebanon, focusing on political and humanitarian issues
UNSOS UNSOS provides logistics, engineering, and life support services to support peacekeeping and security operations in Somalia. 
UNTSO The United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO), established in 1948, is the first UN peacekeeping operation. It monitors ceasefires and armistice agreements in the Middle East and supports other UN missions in the region
UNWOMEN UN Women is dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women worldwide. It advocates for policies and implements programs to ensure every woman and girl can achieve her full potential.
UNWTO The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is the UN agency responsible for promoting responsible, sustainable, and universally accessible tourism
UPU The Universal Postal Union (UPU), established in 1874, is a UN specialized agency that coordinates international postal policies among its 192 member countries, It ensures a universal network of postal services and facilitates cooperation between postal sector players
WHO The World Health Organization (WHO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for international public health. It works globally to combat diseases, promote health, and ensure access to healthcare for all
WIPO The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is a UN agency that promotes and protects intellectual property (IP) worldwide
WMO The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) is the UN’s specialized agency for weather, climate, and water resources
WMU Western Michigan University (WMU) is a public research university located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs and is known for its strong emphasis on experience-driven learning
World Bank The World Bank is an international financial institution that provides loans and grants to low- and middle-income countries for economic development,  It aims to reduce poverty and support sustainable development through various projects and initiatives
WTO The World Trade Organization (WTO) regulates and facilitates international trade among its 166 member countries, aiming to reduce trade barriers and resolve disputes. Established in 1995, it promotes global economic growth through its initiatives.
