IAG 2023 Registrations now open

After long negotiations we’re finally ready to share the long awaited news! On Friday we shared the invitation to the 48th UN Inter-Agency Games with all accredited IAG Coordinators and registrations are now open to participate.

What does that mean for you, and how do you participate? When competing in the Games you compete for your organization. Therefore you also register through your organization. Please monitor your inbox closely because you can expect the invitation to be shared by your IAG Coordinator shortly. If you feel your organization doesn’t have one, leave a comment and we will check if we have something on record. If there is no focal point and you would like to take this responsibility on yourself, let us know and we can guide you through the process of getting your organization accredited.

This year, we put a strong emphasis on community, so we negotiated highly competitive hotel/sport packages in hotels that are all in close proximity, and include transportation to and from all sports facilities. While these packages are encouraged, whether you would like a hotel or not, as well as the category you wish to stay in is entirely up to you.

      Please share with us our book hotels and note I shall arrive on 16 and dhall leave on 22 . That means I have to.pay for 2 addional nights. Will I be paying it in advance or upon check in?

  30. I will retire at the end of September. Retirement agency (IAEA) is different from the agency I am currently working for (OPCW). How do I manage my registration? I would like to participate in football and currently practicing with ICC team.

    • Hi, probably best to register with the agency you would like to compete with. But technically it would be the agency as they would certify you as retiree

    Thank you for all your time with this. Re GOLF package (for both Participant and Supporter) how many rounds of golf are included? Normally its three (per package), but just wish to check if its different.

  34. Such games may bring much pleasures and it would be a great chance for UN staff those who are you working In challenges area. Like Afghanistan and some other countries. I’d like to bring a chance to participate in this period games like, volleyball and etc

  38. I am retired from UNMISS but as UNMISS is a mission thus they not have my credentials or not register me. Is there any chance that I can be focal point for myself as I had been FP gor UNMISS for day years and have lot of experience on this task. I can also assist retired staff like me on the way forward. Regards

Currently working with an International NGO at the U.S.A. I’m interested to participate as an independent participant and or play within the UNDP team. How can I get the invitation since I’m leaving in the U.S. and joining this year UN-game?
